My sandisk melted and nearly set fire to my Mac !

Well. I have many instances where at the end of the flight & I download the photos & videos that I have only photos & 1 video sometimes none???
The controller beeps like normal like it should be recording & sometimes it just stops recording all by itself & card still has plenty of room on it???
Ideas???
