My battery charger modification.

Very professionally done, I like the braid job! ;)

I first did what Dennis (34Ford) tried - removing the battery plug from the charger and soldering on plugs so I could use my Hyperion EOS0720i. But I missed having my original charger for the field and didn't want to spend the $99 to get another one. I then saw what Haydn did from down under, but didn't want the wires hanging out as it would make it more difficult to store in my hard case. So I sorta did a mod of Haydn's mod. I took a female balance lead plug, a set of banana leads, a set of powerpole plugs and a set of male balance leads and did this. Now I have both a portable charger for the field and a cradle to hook to my smart charger at home. I like to know how many mAh I'm putting back in and the IR of the cells, something I can't do on the factory charger.

Great idea.
I might do that to the next one.
Mind you, nothing as satisfying as a good braid job. :D
