So I finally found a body for my q500 4K. Once I got it all switched over and back together I attempted to turn it on and it wouldn’t turn on. So I hooked it to my computer to see what was going on. It shows that all the ESC are correct. So I tested the motors. First three spun great. The fourth did not. It smoked for just a second. I know the ESC is now shot. But what are the chances that the motor caused it. When it wrecked it threw half a propeller and the motor that burnt the ESC is the motor that it happened to. Also what would be the chances of being ok with getting a used motor and ESC. Finding new is currently difficult. Thank you for the advice.

Chances are very good. Just buy from a seller that accepts returns, or from some place like eBay with a money back guarantee.
