Wow that is good news! Did not expect them to be that fast with a new version. Have not had time to read the whole description yet but it sounds like they came up with a great improvement and finally a real competitor to DJI in that size.

Is the new Mantis G ($699) competitive with the Mavic Air ($799), based on the specs? I haven't looked, but what has changed besides the gimbal? I think the Mavic Air still has a better gimbal? Yuneec needs to make sure they are offering a truly competitive alternative to DJI.

I think they have electronic stabilization on the third axis like the Parrot Anafi which works extremely well. The Mantis G has much better flight time than the Air and of course the batteries will be cheaper.
