Hi y'all! New to this "real drone" experience, man have I been missing out. I actually got my H Plus on a trade deal for one of my RC cars. Been in the rc hobby since I was around 22yrs old from planes to these new mini crawlers. I live is Saginaw, Michigan so anyone around my area who would like to help me figure out my drone I would appreciate it. I have flow in a couple time now in my back yard flies extremely well. I am just having troubles with the gimbal. it flashes green and no response from my controller it does 2 long beeps and 2 shorts as well, just wiggles and is cockeyed. There is video and I am able to take and record with it so I know the camera is good. I have search all over in here and have not been able to find a solution. (Might not be searching right though.) Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Beep code 2 long 2 short , ROLL ENCODER: Long, Long, short-short, pause, repeat. It could be the encoder or the ribbon or the gimble board. It could also be none of the above and just a connector not properly seated. If ur confident in opening it u could inspect the connectors . If not send to @MobileTechSpecialists for repair. U can buy the parts if needed on eBay pretty cheaply but knowing which part exactly could be difficult without having a parts camera to establish the potentially faulty part . Perhaps someone can confirm the beep code, I think roll encoder

The H Plus is a very fine aircraft and the C23 camera is superb. It is a shame you have gimbal issues, but most likely there is a ribbon cable issue. If you are not skilled in working on micro-fine electronics it is best to let someone with those skills and with C23 repair experience fix this issue. It will be worth it in the long run.

Take a video of the camera as the system powers up, and post it on YouTube, Vimeo, or Instagram and post the link here or in a new thread in the H Plus sub forum. This will give our camera experts a better idea of where the issue may lie.

It does act like either a flex cable is defective or one of the magnets on a motor shaft of the gimbal is deteriorated.

I’m also wondering about the vibration dampers on the gimbal mount. They are definitely not OEM and look a bit shorter than OEM dampers.

Waiting for our camera experts to chime in here.

Yes we are fairly close to each other. I’ll be back in Michigan the end of April. Maybe we can try and meet up this summer after I get some chores squared away at my summer abode.
