Yesterday, I had a couple of recreational flights with my H480 on the western side of Ilkley Moor (Yorkshire, England). After that ex-hurricane swept up the U.K. the other day, I was surprised to be in a position to have a fly yesterday. I charged a couple of batteries up on Tuesday evening and I was good to go yesterday morning.
So I went, but when I got there it was a bit murkey. Dry with light winds (Kp=1), but the light and visibility was poor. The sky (clouds) had a reddish tinge to them caused by rubbish being put into the atmosphere carried up from those wildfires in Portugal and stuff from the Sahara by the hurricane. But I was there so I decided to put the aircraft into the air and see if I could obtain any useful video.
Here is a short edit from the footage I got. I managed to get rid of the reddish tinge in the clouds in post production. Source footage shot in 4K rendered down to 1080.
