Please don't be like me and place your st16 on the roof of your car while loading up your equipment. Yup, I drove off and went about 2 miles when I heard the 16 hit the pavement at 40 mph. Not good, 16 is trash. I will save as much as possible but its pretty cracked up. From now on I will place it on the hood so I can see it before driving off.

You are one brave man to admit to it; no doubt that any of us are capable of doing it. Sort of "those who have left stuff on a vehicle, and those that will". Always appreciate advice to make us more conscious of easy to do mistakes.
I already ordered a new st16 and I don't have a smart phone, but good thought. The thing isn't trustworthy either after the jolt.
