Opinions?

Sourced the carbon fiber tubes on Amazon, only need to replace the "feet", T at bottom intact, top of vertical member also intact. Two good actuators they both work fine when installed. One has a broken seat - the piece that attaches the actuator to the leg. Anyone have one of those? Listed on the German and French sites, but if anyone here has one from a wreck...

Next - is there a way to check a motor without installing it? While do-able, it's a lot of work to put a motor in an arm and discover it won't work - just did that. Good experience, wasn't really that difficult, but lots of stuff to do (99.9% sure it was done correctly). There's a great video on YT that lays it all out very throughly.
You can buy carbon fiber tubing, and make your own ?

Copter.eu is straight forward and Olaf and his employees are always keen on generating satisfied customers. As well, they are also very close to Yuneec EU HQ and are well connected.
Even if something's not listed, it's always worth writing an email as they might have single parts in stock.

And they always pop a bag of sweets in the parcel, so my kids are happy.

Yes, that ebay post was 13.00 lire/$13.09 us, there only $5.99 here, but no one has them ? I wonder if theres a way to get better pricing on shipment ? You could make money getting parts, and shipping to the states

If I can get my hands on one of it - next order - I will give it a try. Since a friend has the one for the H+ I would go for a dual purpose tool. But I have some other projects running (Typhoon Thunderbird Mod, RasPi multi-spectral cam, fixed wing UAV...) so it might take a while ?... oh, yes, and there's also a job to earn money to afford all the before-mentioned ?

The bottom legs (parallel to the ground) can be replaced with the right sized tube. With some effort, they can be removed from the T connection. If they're not damaged, it might be impossible, but if you cut them short on one side and crush them near the T, you can work them clear. That part's done, and the opening is clean/clear. I haven't got the replacements yet, but pretty confident some dishwashing soap, or maybe WD40 or similar will get them in place. Seems it might work for the vertical members too, but mine are un-damaged.
