What is the maximum safe cold temp. Outside to fly the q500?

The battery, the controller and your fingers will determine the lowest temp. If you keep the battery and controller warm prior to flying you can fly at 10 deg F. Expect your flights to be about 8 min at that temp. Don't push it. The voltage will drop quickly.

another good question would be also of the other end of the spectrum. how hot is too hot to fly. and to keep the batteries in your car when on a road trip.
