I had a Typhoon H Plus from 2020 and stored in a container outside with high temp. Never used, just opened the box , camera is connected to controller, can take pictures, but gamble does not work. Believe firmware all updated. Any one has the same issue or can offer some clue? Thank you

Taking pictures is part of the Camera "Bind".
Moving (pointing) the camera is part of the Drone "Bind".

Is the drone itself properly bound to the controller?
(An easy way to tell if the drone is bound is to change the flight mode switch position and see if the rear motor LEDs change color.)

Thank you for the quick respond. I can test it without propellers on, right? I am not ready to fly it yet. Thank you

I might be wrong about the rear LEDs. Pretty sure the LEDs will not change until the GPS has acquired.
You can also test it this way:
Be sure the props are off. Try to start the motors. They won't actually start, but you should at least get some beeps and lights flashing. If the GPS has acquired, the motors may "bump" once.

You remembered to remove the gimbal lock, right?

gamble lock, you meant the cover in the front to prevent it from moving? yes I did. it is acquiring 7-8 satellites, enough? Before I am doing anything, the rear led s are flashing blue

Response to Post #5:
If the controller is on and the drone rear LEDs are flashing blue, the drone is not bound to the controller. You will have to run the bind sequence for the controller part.

when I press "Bind" while "SR24S_8906V1.07 is appearing as in the picture, under "drone" section, nothing happens

When I press "Refresh" icon, it says " Tap OK to unbind RC link", so I took it as bound already. Am I wrong?

Response to Post # 10:
Not necessarily. The indicated receiver is just the last receiver it was bound to. It does not mean it is still bound to that receiver.
If the rear LEDs are flashing blue, something is wrong. The best you can hope for is a simple loss of bind. Try rebinding the drone to the controller. If it does not work, it's going to get more complicated.

Our messages are getting out of step.

Turn the drone upside down until the LEDs flash amber (green?), turn it back over, press OK to "unbind" and then rebind.

Response to Post #13:
I see. Ok, I disconnected the link, trying searching for drone, saying" NO RC found". How do I proceed

Ok, turning my drone upside down, flashing amber, turn it back, unbind, found again, no more flashing led lights. what should I do next?should I check my gamble? or should I do other things before that? Thank you so much for taking the time so far. I am hoping this will work

Response to post #17:
Turn the drone back off. When it is fully off, turn it back on. Within the first few seconds of being initialized, turn it upside down a couple of times until all six motor LEDs start flashing green.
Put it back on its feet.
Refresh the bind box again.
Tap OK to unbind.
When the receiver ID number appears inside the box, tap it. The drone should then bind.

Response to Post #16:
I meant "Camara" earlier
