Q500 4K SD card in controller???

I see no mention of it being needed during flight anywhere but in this forum. What is the advantage? I have only about 3 hours on my unit and did not keep an SD card in the controller.
Does it keep a record of our flights that we can decode and use, like an after-flight review or something? Maybe link it to maps to visualize our flights after we get back home? That would be really cool!

The sd card logs many useful data.

VERY cool! Do we need some outside software to read that data? Your pics show format, descriptors, column heads, and more.

No, you can read all the data with any text-editor, but I do not know, if you understand that data
