Q5004k antenna placement

Quick question after changing my airframe out I noticed that the antenna that is normally run in the legs is run in the wing instead, I bought this off eBay as refurbished so I guess what I’m asking is if having it run in the wing will effect the drones performance?

The two antennas should have 90° angle to each other. If no power cables to the motors are direct near and parallel to the antenna, all is good.

I recall watching a YouTube vid where they explained that Yuneec hanged the antenna placement from the leg (earlier models of Q500) to the "wing" strut (later models) due to a problem with moisture affecting the antenna. I installed an aftermarket bi-quad 2.4 GHz antenna on my Q500 4k in place of the factory dipole antennas and nearly doubled my range. Same with an added 5.8 GHz 4-lobe cloverleaf for the CGO3 antenna.
