Did you check it in hardware monitor first?
Never do the calibration until you make certain the stick appears normal in Hardware Monitor. Most of the problems with sticks simply require cleaning. After it's cleaned, only then should you do any calibration.

It was off center in hardware monitor as well. So even though J4 never did turn green on the calibration test screen it is centered now. It is flying better.
About cleaning the sticks though, I recall seeing something about a spray to use for that?

If the stick shows a problem in Hardware Monitor then the next step is cleaning. Then recheck. If it's still off then do the calibration. If you do the calibration before it's cleaned you are only masking the problem and it will probably not stay in calibration very long.
