Where should this Android version come from? I mean the layer between HW/periphery/connections and the operation system, the Android itself. I don't know if it is possible to exchange only the kernel - we need a good Android expert to clarify that.
My understanding is that the drone specific apps depends on HW too. Even when the app will run on the Android it will not be able to control different HW. There is a reason why app supplier usually have a list of compatible devices.
