I suppose it has to do with how you hold it? I never have it that low, it's always close to my face, so it helps block the sky etc.

That's the beauty of it you no longer have to hold up next to your nose.
As you can see I have the monitor horizontal and very relaxed position.
BTW, 39 minutes flew with it today and last few days total time of 1:21:31 All logged hours.
