Almost choked on my cornflakes when I saw that the CGOET thermal camera was actually available - somewhere, anywhere, in the world. Unfortunately, the price comparison put me right off: EUR1,999 converts to about US$2,280. Quoted price direct from Chinese supplier US$1290 plus shipping, with NZ$ (15%) GST on landing - about EUR1,160+. Even allowing for 19% VAT, the numbers would suggest at that price it is possibly an expensive purchase!
Sorry; but in this day and age, shopping around shouldn't just be confined to comparing prices across town!

The CGO-ET reminds me of the guy that lost his glasses in “The Mummy”. He knows something is there but can’t see well enough to determine if he is safe and will live or if he should run to avoid being killed.
