Can I use typhhon h batery in my new typhoon h plus?

Yes. They are slightly lower voltage at full charge and you may feel a little less zip, but the H packs will work fine.

Don't you have to keep an eye on voltages because the plus measures it in percentage, and it's possible to drain them beyond their safe level if your not diligent?

not sure when you get the land low voltage warning that flashes the rear leds on the h plus (it set for the h520 at 15 percent). fly to 20 to 15 percent range then land (you need to be ready to land right at that moment when you hit 15). just do not go to 10 percent that when real damage can happen.
