They don’t function, and much to the chagrin of early adopters who expected improvements to match and exceed the capabilities of the H480, they likely won’t ever be more than eye candy.
Shame, maybe we could petition the new entity to enhance with these already in existence controls

The new entity in the US is nothing more than a franchise. They are the sales front and have minuscule input on what the Yuneec development teams do. The H+ is a mature system and has not had an update to firmware in over a year.
A few of the suggested improvements to the H+ that early adopters thought would be incorporated into firmware updates ended up in the H3 (Cruise control and some functionality on the Aux button).
