I'm curious to see what you find. Phone call I had was less than stellar also. But if you go and think its a legit outfit, I'll send my H520E immediately.
So does it seem like they are just reorganizing and not closing up shop?I should be going there tomorrow. I was not impressed with the phone call, but the email response was good.
He's talking about a different company that he found in Brooklyn (repairsbay.com). He and I have both contacted them by phone, and neither of us were impressed with the phone call. Seems a little sketchy. He's going by the actual business tomorrow, and we'll see what he reports. Hopefully it is a legitimate business that can do repairs on Yuneec. I'm badly needing a repair, and don't have the skills to fix it this time. I wrecked mine harder than I ever have. Yuneec looks to have closed up for the foreseeable future. So does it seem like they are just reorganizing and not closing up shop?
I have the new H600 and can not find any parts at all. Do have any ideas. Most Yuneec owners have had to learn to do repairs themselves. It isn't too difficult to repair these drones, if you take your time. I own a LOT of Yuneec stuff, including a ton of spare parts I purchased just in case something like this happened. I also started buying DJI products for my newer video projects. Honestly, if you look hard enough, you can find most parts for these drones, but some things you won't find like software.
Crap. I take it the Repairsbay.com shop is a no go then?I have the new H600 and can not find any parts at all. Do have any ideas.
I went to repair bay on Friday, Not an easy place to find, even with gps. I am waiting for an estimate if it can be fixed. I am not seeing parts for the H600 anywhere. Yuneec support is anything but good.Crap. I take it the Repairsbay.com shop is a no go then?
Well bummer. Thanks for the update. Not what I was hoping to hear, but thanks for checking the place out. Perhaps I need to look at Autel or something for a drone I can repair as needed, and save my H520E for certain occasions when needed.I went to repair bay on Friday, Not an easy place to find, even with gps. What do you mean by intelligent flight?I still think repair bay is an option, they had drones there and they are phone responsive. I am looking at a 520E as a replacement, I have the E90X and E20TVX thermal cameras and the 520E can handle them.
Take a look at the Anzu Raptor, a remake of the Mavic 3 series but made outside of China and programmed here in Texas.
The Autel is great, but does not have intelligent flight.
Keep the faith repair bay may come through.
