This might seem a bit silly but I'm serious.
This is awhile back but one morning I was flying my typhoon h at about 150 feet when gnats were in front of my eyes. I thought they were gnats or some flying insect. I swatted to no avail and i couldn't see the drone. I didn't panic because it was hovering.
I moved my eyes from one side to the other and all of these spots went with me except one. I started to descend and it came down. I admit i did a phew for sure.
I'm happy I wasn't in a small place or it could have been another sad moment. Aged eyes I guess. Just a thought if this happens to any of you. Cheers

This should have been put elsewhere, sorry.

No problem. Moved to General Discussion.
Interesting I had a discussion with my eye doctor about floaters just yesterday.
It's strange especially the first time. I take drops that may or may not help. I also got some stuff I found on line called evervision and I'm down now to only one floater. My right eye is caput from a detached retina and what I call a bump but it's a different term medically. 5 procedures and a waste of time. Several different opinions in a good med town. I'm happy I can still drive.

Had a scare like that in November 2025. Got a huge floater in my right eye and also got the light flashes. Took a lot of calling the next day to get into a retina specialist, but they were able to confirm that it was just a floater and not a retinal tear/detachment.

Floaters are a nuisance to say the least.

Same here. It is called Mouches volantes according my doc. Seems to be normal for older guys like me but he warned me if there will be white flashes too, I should come back to him asap.
I have those also but intermittent and the same with the floaters now.
