What DJI drones are really used for,,,

Now we are going to see some idiot try this.?
This would never work anyway.
Drone would be top heavy, and most likely the recoil from the gun may cause the drone flip over.

A multirotor carrying a pistol was built, flown, and successfully fired 4 or 5 years ago by an engineering student and his Dad. Later they did a propane fueled flame thrower. Last I heard they were dealing with legal charges from DHS and the FAA. I have no idea how the case has progressed since then.

We might consider that governments were the people that provided the initial concept of weaponized drones, and they employ them for the purpose of death and destruction to this day. If we consider that about the only thing man has been consistently successful with is constantly finding new, more efficient ways to kill each other it’s not unreasonable to see people designing remote controlled toys to perform similarly. The problem in this is not so much the design and construction of things like that, it’s the (hereditary?) mindset that causes people to think there’s a need or desire for them.

The scary thing is.....at some point someone will put a small bomb on a drone with a remote detonator, fly it in to a target and trigger it. Imagine an outdoor political rally, with the candidate onstage giving a speech.... and a drone flies right up to the lectern and explodes.....The ability for a terrorist or other malcontent to freely obtain and operate a delivery device like this......is it just a matter of time?

No need for remote detonation, remember the metal toy missle type cap bombs we had as kids. You would load a cap in it( the red strip kind) throw it in the air and when it hit the ground the cap would detonate. RC drop boxes have been around for years.
