What's wrong with the camera?

Why is it spinning?

It is normal when only drones are switched on.

When connected to the controller, it shows symptoms like this.

The LED on the bottom of the battery blink purple.

What's the problem?

Several possibilities. The camera firmware may not be bound to the controller. You can check this in the system settings>firmware>bind menu.

The gimbal may not be correctly installed on the aircraft. Remove and correctly re-seat the gimbal.

The camera firmware installation may not have been performed properly. If such is the case install the camera firmware and bind again.

The gimbal might be broken. Call Yuneec if you suspect this.

Try calibrating the gimbal.

I had this problem after I did a firmware update back in February last year. I did a gimbal calibration in the field and power cycled the aircraft once it had finished the calibration and I've not seen this problem since.
