WiFi signal to Ipad

When I use my Ipad to view the cam pic will it pic-up the WiFi signal from the H or the St16?
Does the Ipad have a negative impact in some way?

The camera (CGO3+) I would presume.

Comes from the camera. All I did was turn on the "H" without the ST16 ground station and look for a new wifi signal on my PC. So now you know.
