Yuneec h plus firmware, US vs EU

Does anyone know what the latest version of software is for the hplus. At least for the h520e the latest I could locate publicly available wasn’t actually the latest but OTA prompted and downloaded a new version for this model.
My plan is to compare video feed time from camera to st16s , I want to install 3 different versions of software on 3 different h plus drones. One old version , one latest EU and one latest US . I’ll then make a video and compare all 3 and upload the video here.
Also is there a difference in US firmware and EU just for the camera or also for st16s and the hex also .
I’ll update via sd card as OTA is not available anymore, unless of course a new server could be created to bring this feature back online but that’s a story for a different day

As far as I know the only difference between US and EU version is the camera FW due to different regulations for WiFi. The setup of the WiFi connections takes longer with EU version.

This is exactly what I’ve read regarding the EU version. What I’m not sure on with legal perspective is can I fly here in Europe with US software. Anyway it will be interesting to compare connection speeds . Thanks you for fast reply

A video I have found on the connection speed already exists, perhaps it’s from a member amounts us .
EU connection speed around 90 seconds,
US connection speed around 15 seconds

Well it seems that this site is failing. Sad because it was a good place to talk and get help from other interested patterns. I have only gotten back here after a long rest and unfortunately it is not what it was. The HPlus is a truly a remarkable drone and fun to fly. I am looking for help with the Intel realsense update and cant seem to figure it out. I did download the update packages from the site bet it doesn't seem to update the realsens unit. The other updates load up fine. Has others found a similar problem when updating their units.

Are you certain there were updates issued for the firmware? I have not looked into it, and the thought comes to mind that the originally installed firmware may still the latest. Yuneec generally did not post copies of the original firmware. Only updates.
Why do you want to update RealSense? (Such as problem resolution, performance increase, new features, etc?)

I can’t figure out is it meant to be installed on the st16s or with the camera. The file is part of the controller packet on yuneecskins. This is where the OTA software updates would be great. I was doing a bit of research into the why the h520 still has over the air updates but the h plus was dropped. Nothing official but the h520 is commercial and h plus hobby grade . A commercial unit by law needs updates for several years and hobby grade nothing, the servers cost money to maintain and very shortly after production of the h plus ended the servers went down, thanks yuneec, u can bet that the h520 will drop also the day they don’t have to support it any longer. Thank goodness for yuneecskins

This could explain it, it might be the same . On that point does the h480 and the h plus use the same realsence module with different software. Would it be possible to install a h480 module on a h plus

I do not recall there ever being an update to the RealSense for either the H480 or the H+.

RealSense on the H480 is v1.10, and on the H+ is v2.xx as I recall. When the H+ first came out many users removed the RealSense module as they found it had a negative effect on flight time.

There was a debate at that time if the modules were actually different or if they could be interchanged between the H480 and H+/H520/H3. I don’t know that a definitive answer has ever come about.

Hi Sir, My real seance version is 102 as far as I know. I have updated the the drone and the tranny with the latest software from a link found here on Yuneec Skins? But I don't think that the real seance was update's? Have you or could you point me to where I can find instructions as how to carryout the updates uprperly.

Looks like a successful install then @mike9irish . At least everything is now on build 822. The presence of the file on the website is where the confusion arose by the looks of it. I found and interesting add on eBay that a user had multiple realsence modules for sale and it stated for typhoon h and h plus. Now eBay is well known for listing thing incorrectly but the seller also knew it wasn’t compatible with the h520 which is correct. I’ll add a picture of the listing, my speculation is the same hardware loaded with different firmware and could be the reason for the file being present on the website.
