Altitude change

Hi Guys
Got another couple of questions
1. Looking at capturing winter sports with a drone. Does the typhoon H adjust for altitude as you travel down a Ski slope? Would it maintain the original height set before you commenced the run?
2. Has anyone tested the Typhoon H at 3000M elivation?

I've read that it will follow "down" the slope at a fixed altitude because of the sensors it has. I can't remember where I read it though so I may be wrong.
There's a video on YouTube saying that the Q500 4K won't operate over 8000ft, might be the same for the Typhoon...?
