Baby Yuneec Q500:

I had seen a few YouTube videos of this little quad and today I saw one in action. It is the JXD 509 and it is identical to the Q500 -- except four or five times smaller. From what I could tell it flies pretty good for a toy-grade quad but doesn't seem to have any really sophisticated features other than FPV. I believe it sells for around $100.

I've never heard of JXD. Is it a subsidiary of Yuneec?

Nah, not a Yuneec product. This one has been covered in the past, I believe it's just a mini quadcopter that had altitude hold. Pretty popular on YouTube. Would probably be a good starter drone for people, and supposedly very durable too. Not to be used as a camera drone because the video is awful. They did clone the Yuneec style though, surprised they weren't sued.
