No - always remove the battery when not in use. That way, should anything go wrong with it it won't weld itself to your craft and then set fire to both of them 
No. Not a good idea in general. Worse, many drones actually energize parts of the board even with the switch off. That can ruin a battery in a couple of days. It will certainly shorten battery life over time.
