C23 Plus Camera

Hi There

Be interested to know peoples impressions of the C23 camera on the typhoon, I find the standard camera to wide for top down stitched panoramic shots and get lots of distortion with buildings etc and angles going opposite directions, is there an improvement from the C23 ?

You can change the lens on the cg03/+ camera, have seen vids doing it, both just higher quality/same FOV and less FOV (>14mm lens).

the procedure does not seem too bad, but you will dismantle the camera to do so, mainly getting orig epoxyed in lens out, the new lens screws in, and then you focus (screw lens in or out) seems like an interesting project to do.

Thanks for the reply, I think i will wait for the new camera rather than risk my sausage fingers ! saying that god knows how long my camera will be, Yuneec are not giving any dates out, ordered it over a month ago

i dl'd 4 pics from yuneec site of the C23 and they look good, 1 was a DNG so i edited that in LR and honestly it does look nice for a 1" sensor.

the lens appears to be darn sharp corner to corner, but i just saw a price for the c23 & gimbal for $1499 !!!

that is more than my latest aps-c significantly better sensor DSLR !!

surely the price must come down fairly soon ?

around £750 in the UK for the C23, hopefully i will get mine soon and try it !
