Hi All,
I have a Blade Chroma, and before John's passing, I sent him my camera for repair. When I got it back i could still not get it to work correctly. The screen on the remote flashes on and off with the picture the camera sees, but it will not work properly. I can control the movement of the camera with the remote, but the camera view rotates off and on. Any direction or help is appreciated. Thank you in advance. Ward

Is the controller an ST10 or an ST10+?

This type of problem can originate in either the camera or the controller. It would be good to first confirm which equipment has an issue. Do you have a second camera or controller you can try to compare results?

If you do not have a second controller you can try to view the CGo3 video using a PC and "VLC". (See attached instructions if needed.)
If the image is stable via VLC, it would suggest the issue is in the controller.
If the image continues to flash. disconnect or not show up on your home WiFi, it suggests the issue is in the camera.

Hi, I have the ST10+ controller. Without the camera i can fly the drone with out any problems.
I'll review your instructions and see what I can figure out. I really appreciate this.

Is the video on the SD card in the camera stable and without drop-outs?
I guess the camera is connected to the drone with the pigtail cable (the black cable between gimbal and drone). If so, check the contacts and wires if all are OK. Problems with WiFi and gimbal may have a source in power supply (step-down converter battery voltage to +5V for the camera).

Hey sorry this took me so long to get to. I have followed your instructions and when i get to the last step i get a message that states Connection Failed and Your input cannot be opened.
do you have any other suggestions? does this mean my camera is the culprit?

"does this mean my camera is the culprit?"
It would be better characterized as "camera failure is suggested". There are too many unknowns to characterize it as conclusive.
"do you have any other suggestions?"
Send the camera and controller to a repair shop (such as @MobileTechSpecialists ) for an "in hand" evaluation.

I think the IP address in the procedure above is wrong.
For me works following address rtsp://192.168.42.1/live
Or if the port number 554 for RTSP was not recognized try: rtsp://192.168.42.1:554/live

{ By the way, the CGO3+ and the CGO-ET have the same address for the video stream.
The thermal stream from the CGO-ET has another port number but same address: rtsp://192.168.42.1:8554/live }

Another possibility to check if the video stream is OK is to use the CGO app on your phone. There I have also a clear stream with my CGO3. Is the recorded video on the SD card OK? No drop-outs or so?
