CGO-ET temperature settings

I'm sure this is very basic for some of you, but I can't get the temperature range set on the 520 with the CGO-ET camera. The range switch seems to be locked and every time I type in a value, say 73 degrees F, into the max or min, it switches to something between 300-600. The manual doesn't seem to be too verbose in explaining how to set up your own range.

I switched it to Celsius and was able to input some values in min/max and air temperature inputs. I wasn't able to switch the range on though.
I'm also not sure the lock did anything though it looks a lot different than the H version.
