CGO2+ SteadyGrip with CGO3+ Camera

I just got my Typhoon H and want to use the CGO3+ camera with the SteadyGrip that came with my Q500+. Is there a way to make this work without buying another SteadyGrip? Thanks

Just went and got my old steady grip. Doesn't work.

Yuneec said the one uses 6 AA batteries, newer uses 8 for wifi, then they have a rechargeable version now.

Mine uses 8 batteries. The problem is my SteadyGrip has a port to plug in my CGO2+, the CGO3+ has a "hotshoe" with no other cable.

Has anyone tried to put the CGO3+ (from Typhoon H) on the Action Cam Steady Grip that normally comes with a CGO3? I realize the 360* won't work, but the rest of it should function, right?
