Checkout the document in this thread Way To Fix Drones project and refer to the attachments regarding the CGO3+ and its wiring. It sounds like you have issues with the control signals. It may also be at the connection to the aircraft.

I have seen that before when 2 of the wires were plugged in wrong on the IMU, check to see if they are in the correct place.

Thank you all for your advise I completely stripped and rewired and I can happily say I’m back in business thank you to yuneec skins for the encoder part I will post pics or vid soon weather is not good atm thanks again ??

It's great when these guys can help you out.
