Deleting video and photo files from camera mini SD card.

I Have about filled up the space on the camera mini SD card.
When I open the folder on my PC and try to delete the files, I get a pop up saying the files are locked.
Even when I change the write protect switch on the adapter, I still can't delete them from the mini SD card.
Can't access them as admin either.

If I format the mini SD card, I suppose this will remove everything including the video/photo files.

Will the folders be regenerated when I install the card back into the CGO camera?

Using W7 or W10? Check the folder properties, it may be set to read-only.
If you have made a copy of the contents onto a HD, you can re-format the card.

I am using Windows 8.
I previously did check the properties. and it was Read Only.
I set it to Archive and still no joy.
The only other option under properties was Hidden.

I did already save the video and photo files.
I will take your suggestion and run with it.
