So I dont remember this being the case but when the plus is off. The camera seems to be dead weighted to the right when facing it. I always felt this was more balanced before. Anyone else have this issue?

When powered on, it seems fine with the gimbal controlling it but I've noticed a bit of shaking in my videos now. Props are good.

Gravity will do what it wants once there is no power to the gimbal. Make sure that the isolators are all in place correctly. A calibration of the gimbal may be in order as well. Run a quick flight with a video in it and post it so we can see the shaking that is going on.

My E90 and C23 both do the same. So long as the camera levels correctly with no buzzing from the gimbal I call it good.
I'm using modified dampers and I do get some Jello in the videos under certain conditions when the airstream seems to affect the camera. I did see a 520 owner from France that added some rubber bands to assist the dampers. He claims it has not affected the video but I have not tested it yet.

A perfectly balanced camera, lens, gimbal group remains in balance power on or power off. I have yet to see a balanced Yuneec camera/gimbal assembly. They are all out of balance and use the motors to zero offset.

This was my take on gimbals as well.

I used some golf club tape to balance mine, especially once I used the adapter ring to utilize 40.5 mm ND filters. The old school in me wants the camera balanced which lessens the load on the gimbal motors.

The CGO3+ on my Standard H also hangs low and to the right when powered off. I don't worry about it - it's in its cover when off most of the time, and the camera is light enough to make me think its motors are hardly under stress to keep it straight when powered. But sometimes I do notice that my 360 spins are uneven sometimes, and wonder if that might not be at least partly down to the camera not being in perfect balance...

@Steve Carr perhaps some bubble gum and baling wire are in order?

I’m just now noticing the same “not as smooth as before” during panning. My first inclination is possible wear of the gimbal assembly.

I haven’t recalibrated lately tho, so worth a try. I have a hardly used CGO3+ I could move to the current H480 workhorse for one of those “rotate the tires to see if the flat tire sound moves” troubleshooting techniques.

Sorry! As a now 60+ former service tech, I still crack up with that old joke.

Perhaps it needs Viagra! That'll offset the zero effect.

The original post heading was to provoke sarcasm I believe! If not it was a magnet for it.

Mrgs1,
It must be the same sort of magnets that draw the H into Trees. Johnno Hennessy

I think the trick is to turn the copter to the opposite pole just in time to repel you away from the magnetic draw of the tree!
