First let me clarify something, I'm dumber than a bag of hammers when it comes to this stuff, but I'm trying to learn. When I got my Typhoon H, it came with two 5.8 antennas. The Typhoon G mushroom antenna OF MK58 was on the ST16 and a Typhoon H 5.8 GH2 Video Antenna. Does it make any difference which one you use, as they both seem to work fine?
It matters not as long as you get a good video feed. The mushroom is omni-directional and should be pointed straight up. The patch or flat panel antenna is directional and must be pointed at the H. It should provide a better signal at a distance.
Thank you Steve. I don't do to many distance flights, so I'll just stay with the omni-directional.
