now for 64k question whats the cgo4 gimbal connection wiring like. would it be nice with some possible minor gimbal mod get it to work with the h520 using the h480 controller for the camera.

we need team mode on the h520 st16s to talk with the h480 st16 controller when using h480 native camera. or yuneec upgrades the h480 like they did h920 tornado.

you had a voltage concern. do you happen to know what the voltage limits of the 480 are? I've seen that the cgo3+ is a range of something like 12-16.8V, and the e90 i've seen 17V, so not too far off from each other.

Did you get video to work with the 480 controller and on the 480 with the e90? or did you have to use the new controller from the 520?

typhoon h480 drone with h480 controller then e90 to h520 controller however when first done expect rapid beeping from the h480 aircraft however remove e90 from h480 gimbal and then place back in h480 gimbal connection beeping should stop and not come back. video will be viewable on h520 controller however you have a front facing camera only with no 360 or tilt control and to do pictures or video record external third party hardware hdmi capture streaming device must be used between h520 controller and a laptop or tablet.

to get 360 degree control with tilt one must get another cgo3+ take the cgo3+ camera head off also make a pass though wire harness to connect to 2nd gimbal board where the e90 is connected. basically in a nutshell custom h480 gimbal for e90 and e50 cameras using cgo3+gimbal parts added to the h520 cameras with out butchering the h520 cameras. also due to additional weight warp around h480 drone harness may be required. expect low flight times.

additional circuitry may be need for voltage correction with e90 and e50 cameras such as a voltage booster device in the custom gimbal. Now for cgo3+ and current cgo et cameras to h520 drone some what reverse custom gimbal using lowest cost camera for now is the e50. remove the camera head and you should still have at basic a working h520 tilt and 360 degree panning ability with buck power device lowering voltage to native h480 cameras.

okay just did e90 to h480 flight test h480 can fly with e90 full battery lasted little over 13 min e90 was viewable only from h520 controller. and as said before view was front only no gimbal control. and to record will take running hdmi cable to a streaming device connected to a dvr device.
