After seeing a few posts in another thread showing E90 images with little or no distortion in the image. I think its a good idea to see if this might be related to a possible bad batch of cameras/Lenses. Most of the users that I know who have the issue including me seem to have bought their H520/E90 from the end of September to early October.

Do you have the distortion issue and when and what country did you buy your E90 camera? Also if you are one of the lucky ones and have very little or no distortion, when and what country did you buy your E90 camera.

Lol. Good Thread start. I have the issue too. And although it may not be the same on the E90, but back on the CGO3+ there was a clear difference in the lenses used by Yuneec. And it was easily identified just by looking at the front of the lens. Here are some pics of my lens and sample of the older cgo3+ lenses. Maybe those who think they do not have the issue could maybe post a pic of their lens too, to see if there is any indication that it may be different.

Off-theme here, just wanted to say your website is one of the best I have seen this month.
Thank you, very nice of you to say, it has just been a 'holding' site so that I have a presence as I have been inactive for a while.
I am just building a new site for drone work as it happens,

Lines in photo and video on E90 any ideas?

It's happened to me a few times too. I think that's when the sun hits the lens. I thought I'd put a lens hood on it. It's the only thing I can think of if the sun is the reason.........

Looks like the rolling shutter effect when the sun is at a certain angle. ND filter will help with this problem

I thought so, the camera is at 0 degrees and the sun, in that case I recorded the images 2 months ago, was still very low. I had the ND filters in the bag but I was more concerned about the four hawks that were circling over the drone o_O

What I'm having a hard time doing is figuring out the filter level to put in. I don't know how to figure it out. Using a luxmeter, I imagine. But know the correlation with the correct filter?

I was also thinking sun which in turn means the quality of glass Yuneec uses is very poor. This has caused issues on a few of my jobs I take 2 pictures at a time
It also does it during video capture
Is anyone looking at doing something different inspire 2 or anything?
