So I did this gig for Ace Hardware, (yes I was hired).:) they gave me 2 day notice. So I applied for a waiver through LAANC via Skyward. Once I filled out all the necessary info I received my Notice of Authorization in 30 seconds, YES, 30 seconds WOW!o_O
The waiver was needed since I was 1.83 miles @ 305° NNW from Orlando Executive airport runway 13.
My restricted height was 50 feet.
I had less than a block radius to work with. Power lines, cell tower and trees were my obstacles.
Notice the cell tower, it was at least 150 feet tall, yet I was restricted to 50'.:(
I didn't mind the restriction, it is what it is.
Hand caught all my landings since the close proximity of all the buildings and parked vehicles.

Thanks for posting that. I’m stuck right now....ready to test, but thanks to the shutdown I’m in an extended holding pattern....posts like this are of tremendous value to me. What you did, how you did it, how it went.....real world examples in action.

I’m registered over in the Commercial Pilots Forum as well as here, but have yet to post......just lurking.
