Hello, everyone I am recently a renewed pilot of a Typhoon H, which I originally bought in late 2016 or early 2017. During the course of the next 3 months, I was learning to pilot and had a major crash! It was only from about 8 feet off the ground. But I say major because it flipped upside down and broke off the CG03 camera. I worked on it and worked on it and thought all was lost. I just knew I was going to have to buy a new camera. And at the time, they were very pricey. So into storage, it went. Well, getting busy in life as we all do. I completely forgot about it. Well, around two months ago I ran across it in storage and remembered that I still needed to fix it. I started looking for the part and finally found it on ebay. I put the new part in and was ecstatic that it actually fixed the camera. In the course of trying to learn to pilot again, I've watched several videos about updating the firmware to have more stable flight controls as well as bug fixes, security and more. This sounds very appealing to me. However, I have yet to be able to find any firmware update files anywhere I've looked! So I was hoping that someone out there might still possibly have update files for the firmware of this model? If so, any assistance on this matter would be sincerely greatly appreciated. And thank you in advance to the person or people, willing to give their valuable time to help me.

Power up the ST16 and the aircraft with the CGO3+ mounted. Open Settings then select About Controller and compare the results to this screenshot.

This is the latest firmware for the system. If yours differs from this let us know the versions you have.

This thread has the Table of Contents for the user developed Way to Fix Drones Project:
In this you will find links to information on fixing many things for the legacy Yuneec aircraft systems and the download files to support them.

The crash you described sounds like the classic flip over that stems from the motors not idling down after landing. Two things can lead to this:

1) the Rate slider on the right side of the ST16 set too low. Place it in the full forward position “Rabbit” so control inputs are at maximum during takeoff and landing.

2) landing on an uneven surface such as long grass or sloped surface. Use a flat firm surface for takeoff and landing.

During the time your drone was in storage, many people have changed their attitudes on updates. Yuneec updates are risky. And they almost never fix whatever problem the pilot sees. If the drone is not stable, there is a hardware problem somewhere. Updating the drone will not help and can lead to a totally bricked drone.
With that said, if you really want to update, you can find the firmware files at:
Typhoon H Current Update Firmware

It would also be a real good idea to remove the camera during test flights and training flights. That's another change in thought during the last few years. Drones are a lot easier to fix than cameras

The sticks on the ST16 are known to develop some oxidation on the contacts. As part of the preflight checks you should check Hardware Monitor to make certain the sticks are working properly.
Since it was in storage for a long time you should check them following this video.

I have been doing test flights without the camera attached. I feel a lot more confident in flying at this point. I attached the camera back to the drone and have learned a lot about controlling the overall drone setup itself. It is very enjoyable to fly I must admit. At this point, since I haven't encountered any more problems i am going to hold off on the updates. I want to thank you very much for providing them as well as the tutorial videos. I do appreciate you taking the time to help me.
