Gimble wire

Hello everyone,
Newbie here and setting up my drone , I noticed the gimble wire was actually in the accesories box and I had to hook it up , question it seems there is a rubber flap covering the one connector , I can lift it and put connector in but flap doesn't seem to sit flush now , not sure if I am over looking something or doing it wrong , any suggestions much appreciated .

The newer models have connectors on the top of the gimbal and bottom of the Q500 where the gimbal attaches. If this is the case then you do not need the connector wire. They include the wire in case the connectors are not working (crashes can separate the gimbal top and bottom and pull the connector wires out).

so what port on the gimble does this cable hook to. you are talking about the short cable that was attached to the usb adapter...

The inside of the rubber cover(i don't know why) is sticky. Looking at the time of your post you probably have figured that out by now.
