Hello guys!

After my previous post where I mentioned that my Typhoon H Pro crash landed and the CGO3+ camera detached from the plate.

I changed the slip ring, replaced the plate. Camera is sending video signal, it responds to remote control input, but when in idle it rattles.

When running calibration it doesn't vibrate but when it returns to idle position it's starts doing so.

Ckeck this video out:

Appreciate your help guys!

I think it might need Yuneec to calibrate the gimbal, there is a specialist calibration which only they can perform in extreme circumstances.

I am also having a similar problem but my camera spins around on the horizontal axis. Is there any info out there on this specialist calibration,
I would like to give it a try. If one person can do it ......

Is it possible you have a couple of wires in the wrong position on the connector where you installed the pins?

@Senior Chief Mock,
Have you checked the ST16 hardware monitor to see if the K1 knob is responding normally? If the problem showed up after a period of storage, it is possible the issue is in the controller, not the camera.
It would be a different issue, of course, if the camera spins when the controller is not turned on.

When you replaced the slip ring, did you dismount the mainboard and the motor encoder frame to get the wires through, or did you use the you tube video that "fishes" the wires through the encoder area with a hook?

These wires and solder joints are easily damaged, which could have happened with the fishing method

Also, the encoder is sensitive to alignment, which maybe could have happened if you actually did it the right way, but maybe did not reinstall the encoder frame perfectly. It is also possible to weaken a solder joint using this method if you moved the encoder around much. Or if you have a wire pinched between two contact points.

And of course, the worst scenario. This stuff is very vulnerable to static electricity. If you were working without static protection, then it's likely to need service center help.

Thanks guys.

Well I replaced the slip ring without dismounting anything else.

When I try calibrating it takes 20 minutes. During that, it never vibrates. When it finishes and I reboot the drone I starts rattling again.

The gimbal responds to the remote input as expected. Video is clear as before.

Don't know what to do
