I inherited a Drome from a privious instructor. After fighting with it for a little while I realized the control board for the gimbel/camera is missing and there are just a bunch of wires with plugs on the end hanging out of the top of the gimble.

1. Whaat control board would I need to buy?

2. Are there any instructions for wiring it?

Can you make a picture of the current situation?

The gimbal board wiring is here:

Update: It is not fully clear if you mean the control board of the Chroma or the main board of the ST10+ Controller. This post and Post#11 address one interpretation each.

The ST10+ controller port is a standard USB micro b port. It works with Data Capable USB cords you can find at most retail outlets. The common USB charging cables look exactly the same, but will not work for anything other than charging the battery.

If you have a special need to build your own cable, you can do a web search for:
usb micro b port pinout diagram
usb micro b plug pinout diagram

This one might have all you need:
It has a lot of information, including this pinout drawing:

Someone more familiar with USB might be able to help interpret this stuff.

I believe he refers to the Update Board: Chroma, BLH8605.

There is little support. by quick search I found one in Switzerland:

Best way to get a source is to search for BLH8605.
I could not find an actual pin out for BLH8605. This is how I read it. Use at your own risk. Maybe someone else will comment.
