Hi from Lubbock, Texas!!

Hi I’m Rob and and am from Lubbock Texas!! My wife got me the Typhoon H for Fathers Day!! I do Professional photography which I plan on using the drone for as well as recreational use. So I will be getting my Remote UAS pilot license. The ironic part I’ve always loved aviation and have been Flight simming for some time and an actually taking a Discovery Flight Thursday. Can’t wait. My one problem with the drone is I live right on the outer edge of the class C airspace for Lubbock International airport but the airport itself is 22 miles from my home. Does anyone else have this issue are you able to fly legally with permission from the FAA? I’ve only flown in my basement and living room and this drone is extremely easy for me to fly.

Also from what my pilot friends have taught me is this lighter brownish area is still Class C airspace.
