High altitude flying

Greetings everyone. Is there anyone out there that flies their Q 500+ at high altitudes, (5-6K ft)? I just moved from sea-level and haven't tried flying it in the thinner air yet? I appreciate any insight...

Batteries wear down faster, as motors have to work harder in thin air, other than that I have noticed no differences

Thanks Drone Clone. I'll hopefully have some time this week to get some video footage of the Rockies as long as I stay below 8K feet...

Hey buddy...you were still have wifi camera signal on your screen at that altitude? I sometimes loose it flying under 400ft righ above my head!

straight above your head is where the signal is the weakest, due to the shape of the antenna and the corresponding radiation pattern
