C is the current discharge rate of a battery. Some batteries will say 20/40C which is a 20Amp current normal discharge rate with a 40Amp burst.
1S = 1 cell, not a battery (technically just a cell)
2S = 2 cells to make a battery
3S = 3 cells
4S = 4 cells etc..
