Well I decided to take a look inside a breeze controller because i had been adding 6dbi antennas to my bugs 3 stuff. Also, I think something odd may be going on with the one I opened as i swear the battery isnt quite right or theres some small current draw from the controller. I have something like 7 or 8 of them and when I checked the others they were fine.
Anyways, I'm not convinced the battery is the issue yet.
Heres some pics:

You just remove the screws and it will come apart with no clips which is really nice.

In the first pic you can see 2 differentveeighted vibration motors

Notice the 2 different antennas in these last 2 pics. Definately not what I expected to see for an antenna.
I dont know much about the different types of antennas really and I didnt bother tracing them out on the board.

The antennas are for short range Bluetooth communication. The controller talks to the phone via Bluetooth and the phone controls the Breeze via WiFi. You would need to mod the phone’s WiFi antenna. Hence the reason we use WiFi repeaters to improve connection quality.

Makes sense.
I've got a wifi repeater that works but I havent actually flown anything using it yet.
