I found a cheaper Intelite extender for ST16 but the bracket didn't fit my ST16S and I decided to make this mod. It comes out pretty good for me and I like to share with you if you decide to do it by your self.
All you need is some semi-flexible RG402 Coaxial Cable and some (6) RP-SMA Male Jack Center Solder connectors. Some soldering skills and of course time. It is pretty rigid and easy to remove-it for packing in your back bag.
This mode will work for all ST16.

Nice work although I'm certain it was time intensive.
Itelite and 4Hawks make a different mount for the ST16s.

If you have everything in hand will not take to long. Take me like one hour.
No one sells an only mounting kit this is why I decided to do it this way.

Thanks for sharing. I was able to modify the foam on my Yuneec backpack to fit the Intelite antenna perfectly. No need to unscrew. Just check out the pics I took years ago on the "other" thread. Unless you mod increases distance or/and or reception, I think I'm good.
