Thank you. I'm currently using a different case, but after reading your reply and then looking at the images, I have made a very slight modification to my case and can now also store the ST16 with the DBS antenna.

I find these “pre-packaged” range extenders a bit amusing. By adding a mounting plate to a series of independent antennas they get to add a considerable price mark up to something anyone can do much cheaper by just obtaining and installing new antennas.

A little basic research of DIY multirotor supply outfits, FPV and video transmission component suppliers, and some understanding of polarization, wavelength, and gains allows anyone to do a little research and select a new set of antennas much more economically.

What about the guy that used the top of an egg carton modified it around the atenas then lined it with tinfoil cliped it on the atenas and his distance was increased ? Was a cheap hack that worked ?

What makes all the after market antenna packages work are the antennas, a simple screw on modification. Those can be obtained from most all outfits specializing in drone video and FPV systems. Any other stuff has little, if any, value.
