My battery was difficult to slide into the H contacts and the charger contacts, it took a lot of force
sometimes more that I felt comfortable with.

I put some dielectric grease on the battery contacts and it now slides in and snaps with ease.

Plus it will give it a better electrical connections.

Did this on my Phantoms with hundreds of flights without problems.

Sounds like a good idea. Thanks!

I do the same. Keeps the contacts from getting oxidation and makes the slides smooth.

Cable and satellite companies have used dielectric Greece for years. Works for them.

The oxidation is the main reason the batteries are removed from our birds. When storing over the winter it is a good idea to remove the battery from the controller also.
