I have the H520 Drone and would like to know if there is a specific place to put the Remote ID module on the Drone.

To Avoid any conflicts with the Compass!

Appreciate your replies.

Thanks,
Jeff

Between the rear LED and the camera seems to work for Typhoon H (with no RealSense). That location puts the battery between the RID module and the compass/GPS module.
As with all Mods, test carefully in an open area starting with low hovers.
One member reported a loss of GPS incident just after installing RID in this location. There was no definite cause confirmed, RID or otherwise.

I mounted my RID module on top of my Typhoon H forward of the middle arms. This gives it good access to the sky for its own GPS acquisition and far enough forward of the aircraft’s GPS to not interfere with the aircraft acquiring GPS.

I am using the HolyStone RID module.

One of our vendors on our other forums makes mounts for several RID modules for the Typhoon series aircraft. Check with @IronSky1.

i put ID module on the leg of my H plus, so far so good.

OK @DoomMeister I'm going with your placement on the H Plus. Going to test it before I do an actual shoot with it on Tuesday. Wish me luck. Hopefully it doesn't interfere with the H Plus GPS.

It should do well at that position. I have not observed any problems with GPS or control issues on my H480.
